Real Estate Developers

Broadband connectivity is a key selling point in today’s real estate market, with 1 in 10 prospective buyers turning down a sale because of poor Internet access. Installing dark fiber will increase your property value, attract new potential buyers and leverage you above your competitors.

With nearly 85% of physicians using electronic health records, there is an increased demand for hospitals to have the capability to store and transfer large amounts of medical data. Dark fiber allows you to keep up with constantly evolving technology and improve communication both internally and externally, ultimately resulting in better patient care. You can rely on a secure network for confidential medical information and get accurate results in the hands of your patients faster than before.

Rural Areas

Dark fiber can lead to unlimited opportunities for small towns and rural areas across the United States. Increased broadband and higher connectivity speeds encourage economic development, new business growth and job creation. Bringing fiber to your community also allows easier access to healthcare and services, leading to a better quality of life for local residents.

Data Centers

According to the US Department of Energy, up to 3% of the world’s total power is used by data centers. By using FTS carrier-neutral dark fiber in your center, you will attract new customers and be able to provide a variety of bundled options and packages for existing customers. You will also have the flexibility to control exactly how your network is used and maintained.

Whether it’s at the local, state or federal level, government needs access to high speed broadband networks and the capability to transfer data securely. With dark fiber from FTS, your city or town will benefit from quicker emergency response times, more efficient alert systems and new technology and opportunities, thus improving the lives of your constituents.

Now more than ever, businesses are relying on big data to leverage marketing efforts and increase profits. In fact, according to a Baseline study, the average Fortune 100 company can see over $65 million in additional income with just a 10% increase in data accessibility. It’s no secret that high speed, secure data transfer is a must in today’s market, which is what FTS can provide with our dark fiber networks. We will build you a low latency, cost-effective solution that allows for nearly unlimited bandwidth with minimal risk and customizable options.

Content Providers

Every minute, 1.3 million pieces of content are shared on Facebook, 300 hours of video are uploaded to YouTube, and over 400,000 tweets are sent. With virtually unlimited bandwidth, our dark fiber solution will help you distribute and store high quality content for your users at faster speeds.

Subsea Cables

With over 40% of the world's population using the Internet, there is an increasing demand for global connectivity. Our dark fiber backhaul from cable landing station in Virginia Beach will help you bridge the continental gap and meet your communication needs faster and securely.
